Grants sound like a wonderful idea. You get money for your education and you never have to pay it back. But where do you get them?
Grants can come from many different places. You can seek out grants specifically for those pursuing this type of career by going to the American Association of Radiologic Technologies. You don’t have to stop here, however. A number of grants are available for students studying for any career in the medical field. Still others are just available to students in general, no matter what field you are studying medical or not.
Don’t forget the government. The government grants students millions of dollars every year for education as Pell Grants. These Pell Grants are given based on financial need.
And always check with the school that you attend. You may be able to secure scholarships or other forms of financial aid directly from your school. Schools always try to attract the best and brightest and financial incentives are one way that they do this.
